Angel Gowns Project USA
We’re the Thomason family. We currently live with our family of 6 in Guatemala. Living here was never a part of our plan, but we are so grateful we were led here! It’s been life and perspective-changing.
We have the most amazing team, and together, with God’s help, we run our organization Real Imprints, and The Angel Gowns Project.
Real Imprints was launched in 2014, The Angel Gowns Project started in 2015, in 2016 it went viral after being shared on Facebook, and in 2018 we felt led to take Real Imprints and The Angel Gowns Project International.
The Angel Gowns Project is now a project without borders, which has been a beautiful development. It doesn’t matter where you live in the world, losing a baby is heart-wrenching and one of the hardest things you will ever have to experience. It creates an internal poverty, that leaves you feeling suffocated, hopeless, and broken.
It’s tender to think that in this moment of such pain and grief, angel mamas and families, receive an angel gown, a gift and symbol of love, hope, and healing, made from other women dealing with their own internal poverty and difficult circumstances, or who have healed from trauma and internal poverty, or who are fighting to break the cycle and get themselves, and their families out of extreme poverty.
This project knits broken hearts all over the world together in love, hope, and healing.
We have felt the healing power of our Savior, and have felt led to build a community that cultivates hope, healing, purpose, confidence, and empowerment. God can do miraculous things for us and through us, as we serve along side Him.
Our Mission
We help women and families dealing with immense grief and internal poverty, find hope, healing, purpose, confidence, and empowerment by receiving and creating angel gowns.
